Portable Upgrade
Looking for a low-cost, simple way to convert your department’s aging AMX to a DR compatible workhorse? Look no further. TI-BA’s AMX4 and AMX4+ DR Retrofit Kit is the fastest, most reliable way to have your AMX4 up and running with a DR panel in just a matter of minutes. The key component is the wireless panel…the rest is easy.
TI-BA provides AMX4 DR Retrofit Kits compatible with all of the wireless DR systems we sell. All AMX Retrofit Kits are configured with Microsoft Surface Pro touchscreen tablets (other PC-based tablets will work). The tablet controls the DR system’s user interface. The Surface Pro is mounted on the AMX column and protected by a sturdy metal encasement. The encasement can be mounted on either side of the column and/or moved from one side to the other as needed. A custom panel detector holder is mounted to the front of the AMX cassette holder for DR storage and panel safety during transport.
Your new wireless DR panel will now be controlled by the tablet. Modality Worklist (MWL) interface can automatically query your office’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Practice Management software to compile incoming patient orders each day as they are scheduled in real-time. MWL eliminates the need for your technicians to perform redundant clerical work at the DR system before taking images. Once the patient enters the x-ray area, their name can be selected from the patient worklist and the case is started.
Simply use the 14×17″ wireless panel as you would your standard film or CR cassette and images will be transmitted instantly to your tablet for review on the integrated DICOM viewer. Once the new images are approved, they can be sent to the local PACS or other DICOM destinations for further review, over-reads and storage. Find out what we can do for your AMX today!
